Waterfront - Private Lagoon - in Park on the Ocean side -beach, pool

Direct waterfront on a private, saltwater, tidal lagoon. Snorkel in safety as the lagoon is stocked with tropical fish and lobsters - no stingrays, no sharks, no jellyfish, no crocs or alligators! The lagoon goes down to 40 feet and was once used for training by the Navy Seals in the early 1960's! prior to being developed as a condo and marina.
Two pools on the property. A jetty goes out to the sea on the Atlantic side where you can watch sunrises and sunsets. You may fish from the jetty. Slip rentals are also available from the Harbor Master at Kawama Yacht Club.

Fantastic place in a quiet yacht club with a lagoon just outside the back porch for swimming, snorkelling, and kayaking. Accommodation was great and worked very well for us (2 adults, 3 children). Would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Safe location with many amenities

Peaceful Retreat
House was just as described. It was in the perfect location with supermarket and restaurants nearby. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the jetty and my daughter enjoyed sunning by the pool. We also enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon and the beach. We're so happy we found this treasure. Can't wait to visit again!

Location was perfect. Close to pool and a view of the lagoon. Condo was clean, kitchen was stocked, we had extra towels and beach towels. Furnishings and beds were very comfortable. Loved having 2 full bathrooms and secondary bedroom with 2 beds. Good location too. We drive to Key West, not too far from Miami. We drove to Everglades. Lots to do in Key Largo too. Snorkeling, kayaks, great restaurants

Amazing place to stay
This condo was the perfect place to stay for the 4 of us. The lagoon is literally steps away from the front door and has lots of awesome fish to watch and feed. Tons of things to do around the area and everything is clean and neat. Will deff be back.

The home is as advertised, well equipped kitchen with everything you need. As others have commented the unit is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable and in a good location. We met a few permanent residents who were all very friendly and welcoming. Check in was simple and the guard at the front gate was friendly..

What a lovely place. We had two teenagers in our group and they had access to the salt water lagoon, pools, fishing. They had a blast. The location was perfect. The place was very quaint and clean. We would definitely go back!

Girls’ Trip in the Keys
We loved the beautiful and quiet location of our unit within the facility and also enjoyed all of the amenities. Having the living quarters downstairs and bedrooms on the second story made it easy to accommodate early and late risers. If you like to do your own cooking, you may want to think about bringing measuring cups and perhaps ziplock baggies or wrap for any leftovers. The cupboards were stocked with some nice spices and other surprises. We had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again.

I was very impressed with the townhouse Villa. It was extremely very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. It was just perfect. Daniel was very helpful and our check. It went very smoothly. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay in Key Largo!
Condo was extremely clean! The community had so many amenities to offer. There's a beautiful lagoon where you can snorkel and look at the beautiful fish. We walked out to the Jeti frequently and enjoyed the breathtaking views! It has 2 nice pools, tennis courts, and it's close to everything you could need. I would love to go back and stay here again. Host is friendly and very accommodating!

There was a lot to do in the area, lagoon, pools, rocky beach. Condo was very convenient and large enough for a small group. We wished there was more supplies like shampoo, conditioner, tin foil, and small things like that. Those small things would've enhanced the stay.

Great Vacation Rental
This location was very flexible with us because we had to cancel one time before due to bad weather canceling our fishing trip. The communication was great and the location is wonderful. The saltwater lagoon off the back porch is amazing where you can see all kinds of fish what are used to people being around and get great pictures. The property has both bedrooms upstairs so keep this in mind if you have anyone with difficulty going upstairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Paradise
It was just incredible: the house was clean with everything we could have possibly need. Out our back door was a lagoon with small to large fish, lobster and small animals native to the island. Two swimming pools, a few different beaches to visit and a jetty that was perfect for watching sun rises and sunsets. There was so much to do on the island that was close enough to walk or a short distance drive. This is definitely one Vrbo we will visit again.

Great place and great location! Numerous amenities and things to do. Condo was clean. Would have liked more bath towels and wash rags. Other than that I would definitely book again. Parking in front for 1 small vehicle. But we were able to park close by. Great responsive host!

Good time with family and friends.
The owner is very responsive and nice. We had a good time. The lagoon is cleaner than last time. The house is okay but in need of updates. Toaster/air fryer is really small (haven’t seen that small before). Also there’s a compact parking in the front for one car. It’s nice to have bikes we used them to go to the jetty and around the errand.

The house has good room, clean with a full functional kitchen & dishwasher, also washer and dryer in the house. The house manager/owner was very helpful. Answer all our questions and gave us helpful information/suggestions. There was a large pond steps away from the back porch. About 4 minutes walk to a seafood market and restaurant. Similar distance to the beach. We enjoyed warm water swimming for change from NY's cold water. It was a comfy home and convenient. We really enjoyed the stay. Would go back again for sure.

Lovely townhouse in tropical paradise
This welcoming townhouse is beautifully appointed. Bedrooms are calming. The bathrooms are great for an active family that is in the pool and the lagoon on and off all day. The kitchen is adequately stocked for preparing family meals. There is a sandy beach and lagoon right outside the door of the townhouse. Two nice swimming pools. The people who stay at Kawama are personable and friendly. There are many activities organized by people who live there. You can choose to participate or not, as you desire. Examples of activities: aquafit, aerobics, bridge, dominoes. You can easily walk to the point to watch the ocean, the sunrise and/or sunset.

Clean. Well located. Safe. Private. We’ve stayed in various VRBO rentals across the US for more than a decade. The thing that really sets this place apart is Daniel! He made everything easy, was very communicative and responsive. Came in from fishing and the water was off. I went to message him see if there was anyone I could contact. He had already messaged me to let me know it was off for an emergency repair and would come back on in about 30 minutes. Impressive! Bicycles, grill, new appliances and well stocked. This may become our Key Largo headquarters!
