"The house is just as pictured. It gave my family the room we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our cooking needs. Loved the lake. It stayed shallow for quite a ways out. My only concern is it seems a portion of the beachfront has been left to have the grasses grow into the beach. In the picture the beach area is longer more of a rectangle. I would be disappointed if more of the sandy beach would be lost. My grandchildren loved playing in the sand. Overall, it was perfect."

"Perfect place for a bachelor party if you're looking to spend the majority of your time outdoors. The inside was very nice as well though there is a sign not to flush toilet paper down the only toilet in the house. One of the beds was also crammed into a closet but that was not a big deal as there was still plenty of space for the 7 of us. Overall the stay was very good and the host was timely with all of his responses, would definitely recommend to others!"

"Property was very clean. Good location for the Boyne/Petoskey/Charlevoix area. Beds comfortable. Bath off of master bedroom could use a towel bar or hooks. Overall, very good stay. "

"So close to Gallagher farms and the wedding we attended that this cute house also let us explore the Lelanau bike path and down town traverse city. Natural creek in the back yard was perfect to recover from a long run. The house is cute and perfect for our small family with a small doggie. Hilltop Cottage had everything we needed (and then some), the location is out-of-this world and the host made the check-in/check-out process extremely simple and straightforward.
