"My husband and I stayed in this idyllic Shephards hut whilst on a trip to look after our Grandchild during the day time . After running around after a 4 year old all day , it was a welcome sanctuary to come home to this beautiful dwelling with its lovely fairy lights and delightfully warm hot tub to recharge our worn out bodies for the next days shenanigans . Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and have a few days for ourselves to explore the beautiful surroundings . We will definitely...

"This is a great place to stay. Very well made, really nicely done and in a great location. Hot tub was lovely and perfectly situated outside the patio door from the bedroom. Very impressed. Really clean and well maintained. Close to plenty of locations such as the cheddar gorge and weston supermare. Scenery is fantastic and very peaceful. Made to feel welcome. Loved it."

"It was a challenge leaving every day to go site seeing as the property was a holiday location in itself. We were blessed with sunny days and had breakfast and dinner on the deck outside. We too walks by the river on the property in the evening. Patting the pet sheep in the field or looking for the swan. A great selection of DVD's, a yummy loaf of artisan sourdough and chocolate brownies on arrival. The bed was super comfortable and Sara and John were just lovely hosts. We will be back!"

"We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. "The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . We will defo be returning ."

"Amazingly spotless, lots of room. Every room had a wow factor. Our first stay in a luxe Lodge and it didn't dissapoint. Slight issue with ants on the last day after the grounds maintenance but it's expected and spray was provided. Hot tub clean and ph checked every day. Reception were happy to help when we realised the first aid kit was missing and there was a cut finger. "The Shepherds Nest is the best Shepherds Hut we’ve stayed in, for space, amenities and for hospitality. It’s well built, furnished to a high standard and there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Charlie and Carol were really welcoming and there were lots of little touches, and nice surprises on our arrival. The outside bath is great, in all weathers! We’d highly recommend."
