Fabulous beach and tavernas
We enjoyed the apartment, although we would have preferred a higher floor for a better view of the sea rather than the driveway. There are a couple of really nice tavernas nearby, in walking distance. There is no shop, apart from the campsite shop, which is open late but the second time we went, we couldn't find anyone to serve us ... no wine that evening :( The beach is fantastic ... sandy, with lots of dunes. Take the time to walk the peninsular, it's quite lovely. We loved snorkelling here and the water is clear and lovely to swim in. The host was lovely and helpful and the girl who cleaned the room was so efficient ! The pool was lovely, although a lot of the time it felt it was being used by family which made it a bit like we were intruding on their space. But it was clean and refreshing. The location was surrounded by trees and greenery which gave it a real sense of peace and tranquility. It is a really quiet location, and fabulous if you want to retreat from the hustle and bustle of town. Paleochora is 6 Euros in a taxi each way so I wouldn't recommend walking in the heat.

Hotellet hade en fin trädgård och stranden låg nära bara på andra sidan en väg. F.ö var det väldigt avsides men det fanns ett par tavernor i närområdet men man behöver bil för att handla o.s.v

Mooie ruime kamer, zijuitzicht op zee en een vriendelijke eigenaar die ons bij aankomst een frappé bracht. Top en goede bedden.

Flisvos-Kountoura
Freundliches, hilfsbereites und unkompliziertes Personal. Ruhig, da etwas ausserhalb des Städtchens und von der Durchgangstrasse zurückversetzt. Gute Lage sehr nahe der verschiedenen Strände, gute Tavernen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Am Pool entspannend, doch das Wasser sehr stark behandelt (Augenbrennen). Insgesamt angenehme Unterkunft, die ich wieder beanspruchen werde.

Very cheap hotel and ok rooms, if you don't have high expectations than it's definitely worth it. Friendly staff and nice pool area. The wifi didn't work all the time, the AC was old but functional and the rooms aren't in great condition.
