"I was skeptical when I pulled up because this is an older property and has clearly had maintenance issues in the past, but the current owners have done a nice job with updates and keep it very clean. I have no complaints so far."

Great Rest Spot on the Prairie

"We actually stayed at this property twice. First on 21DEC2024 on our way from TN to Utah. Then again on 25DEC2024 on our way back to KY. Why? Because the property and staff were that good. The interior was a bit run down/tired, but do not mistake that for not being clean. This property was clean, very clean. It definately needs a facelift though. It has a wonderful lobby area. Fireplace, expansive large windows- very airy and open. Being western Kansas and only 15 miles from the Colorado border THERE ARE NO EXTERNAL VIEWS. There are several good eating establishments nearby but not within walking distance. Very easy access from and to I-70. We would definately stay there again if we were in that region of the country. Try it, you'll not be disappointed."
