Out on a sheep station but with fabulous views over Backstairs Passage, a well equipped kitchen to cook in and a great outdoor deck area. "Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). "This property is perfect if you want to be away from everything. Its secluded and relaxing - with great views and plenty of wildlife about. Its completely off grid with solar electricity and water from tanks. The room has everything you need for a short or even and extended stay. Plenty of cooking equipment, a full sized fridge with freezer and tea and coffe with a kettle and microwave. We really enjoyed our 5 days here."

"Olivia was a lovely host who communicated well and very kindly even gave us an insightful and exciting farm tour. My son was able to pat working dogs and horses, feed chickens, collect eggs for his breakfast and see a horse and rider conducted cattle muster! In real life! "We had the best time, so close to fishing and we caught heaps of marron and enjoyed our stay on the property. So many beautiful day trips out in glorious wildlife and countryside. The kitchen was all stocked and we could cater for all our guests for our party with the huge oven, glasses, coffee machine, cutlery and platters to boot. "
