"Great place to stay near east end of waikiki they have beach toys on free loan (but dont expect to SUP). I saw a turtle in ocean 3x right off shore just east of breakwater in marine reserve which had good snorkeling and fun jump from pier into water. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Alohilani. We stayed during the holidays (Christmas and New Years) and even though this was a very busy time we did not experience long lines or waits. We found the service in all areas of the hotel to be impeccable. We greatly enjoyed the hotel’s ambiance and activities. We are already planning our next trip."

"This hotel is not a bad hotel, it's actually quite decent, or would be for an off-brand hotel. Hard to see how it is up to Hyatt Regency standards though. It's old and been worked hard, every day for a long time. So it's fraying and in need of a solid refresh to move it upmarket to merit the brand properly. On the other hand, the views off the front are inspiring and the location on the strip quite excellent.d The resort fee is the usual ripoff for which you get very little - this is not an irritation unique to this property, seems everyone here is doing it now."
