"This home had everything you could want and attention to detail was not missed. The pond and fishing were fun. Pretty sunsets and 2 living spaces. Complete kitchen with dishwasher (which I do not think was in the description). Sleeps 8 needs to be clarified as there were 2 BRs with Queen beds (very nice) and 1 BR with 2 loft/top bunk twins and a lower bunk double. A great kids bedroom but not real adult friendly for 4 more adults. We made it all work by sleeping on couches and had a great time. ...

"We had a comfortable stay at the house. It was a good size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. We only needed the main floor. We never went upstairs. We used a borrowed baby gate to keep the dogs from exploring up there. Used the house baby gate at the kitchen steps to stop any basement explorations also. The shower had plenty of hot water. The heater worked great on those 30 degree and below days! A good location for shopping and restaurants. A couple FYIs: The driveway was tight for our full size SUV....

"The house was great. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, puzzles and games in closet. Close enough to downtown and art museum. Unfortunately, it was rainy. Next time we'll explore the parks and Grist Mill. "

"Stayed 9 nights. Historic neighborhood that is coming back. Parking is tucked away in back of the building and secluded from the street. It is very well restored with new touches in all the right places but it is true to its past. Half bath off the kitchen is nice, as are the 2 bathrooms upstairs. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning works very well. Kitchen well stocked and very responsive property owner. "

Mindi was very responsive and speedy checkin. Cottage located within sight of the Mississippi and we watched boat traffic easily. We would easily stay again."
