Home away from Home
If you are looking for some peace and quiet away from the city this is the place to be. Close enough to restaurants and market and wineries. The nights were great with a dip in the pool.

Great place to stay! Quiet and Secluded.
The stay was great. It was quiet and secluded. Amenities were in great shape and was in a great location. The only issues I had were that the A/C settings on the thermostat would not go under 74 degrees so the house would get a little warm at times. Also, there was a constant beeping coming from the garage heard throughout the house and especially in the bedroom by the garage. No one could sleep in that room because of the beeping. There was no access to the garage to try and stop the beeping.

outstanding overall location, and facilities !
Rode up with our church group from Tomball for the Fandango vintage motorcycle event. The property was easy to find, a fantastic location, very clean, with more than enough space to park a couple of bikes and a trike. The bedrooms were comfortable, isolated and quiet. Loved the pool and the grill! Yeah, we are coming back!

Amazing
Took a weekend getaway just my mom, brother and myself. We were super super excited loved the place awesome quiet and close to so many wineries. Super super clean house pool was super clean but unfortunately weather didn’t permit to use. We will definitely book again the whole family for a getaway.

Annual Camp drop off
The property was beautiful and peaceful. Jeff and Alexis were amazing. We had a large group and they were extremely helpful with making sure our stay was completely peaceful and comfortable. The grandkids loved the pool and outdoors that they wanted to stay instead of going to camp in Harper, Texas. The property was a short drive to Harper. Thank you Jeff and Alexis, we look forward to staying there next year.

Great Place for Family Time
They property was perfect for us, we had a Family Event to attend and it was a great home base to relax and be together for the entire weekend. One side note: Its location is great for events at Garrison Brothers Distillery which is about 7 minutes away by car.

Fantastic place for groups!
I hosted my sisters bachelorette party over the weekend and the space was great for the 14 of us. The beds were comfortable and everyone had a place to lay their head. Everyone loved the house and had a fantastic weekend. Thanks for having us!

Girls Weekend
We had a lovely time and the property is gorgeous. It was a girls weekend in the Texas wine country. We stayed in the main house. There was plenty of room for 6 ladies and space to get ready. Lots of extra amenities on the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a dinner. I would stay here again.

Family time
This is the second time we booked this place for a New Year’s Eve weekend. We did a late Christmas plus new years with our out of town family and had a great time. The putter houses were great because if grandma & grandpa wanted to sleep but the 18year olds wanted to stay up there was enough space not to wake anyone.

Nice family get away
After having some initial problems getting the auto locks to work, check-in was smooth. We stayed over a Saturday night and could hear the live band playing next door until about 11. A little too loud for those of us early tobedpeople. Overall though it was a good stay and everyone enjoyed it

Weekend away
Great little property! There was 13 of us and it was the perfect size. It is the country so you have to keep that in mind for some little things. The owners were very responsive before hand and during our stay!! Loved the little place right next to it (wasn't a winery, which is half of what I loved after spending time at wineries, but had cider) but was walking distance and had live music and great atmosphere! Would totally recommend this place

Great stay, fun weekend!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean & very spacious. The property manager communicated well & replied promptly to any questions we had. The pool was fantastic! Bring your own floaties. We used the propane firepit every night. Bed comfort was ok, shower water pressure was good, kitchen was stocked well, extra fans available in hall closet if needed. We really appreciated the coffee beans, grinder, coffee maker & sugar that is already there. There are spiders, bugs, deer & varmints - this home is in the country. It didn't bother us, though. Location was ok. It's 22 miles from Fredericksburg, so we chose to go to nearby wineries & eat out one meal closer to Johnson City. We visited Fredericksburg on our way home after checking out. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great space for large families or a large group. The place was clean and it has a pool. Unfortunately for us there was issues with the well pump and the water pressure. We had to stagger our showers and usage of the restroom. The owners informed us immediately when they knew there was a problem. The place is outdated and it needs attention but it was fine for our group 15.

Well-worn but well-loved vibe
We stayed 4 nights in the Main House and in the French Room of the bunkhouse and had a great time. The pool was truly private, the deck was roomy and shady, and we heard very little road noise outside, despite being on the highway. The hosts put clean linen on all beds before we arrived (much appreciated!) and towels were plentiful. The AC, TVs, and WiFi worked fine. The place does have a well-worn but well-loved vibe that some will find shabby and others will find charming. We found it comfortable, peaceful, and fun, and will remember our time there fondly.

Adequate accomodations but a hassle
We rented this place for a family reunion for which the owner was well informed. The property was fine but could have been cleaner and have better A/C. It is also right off a busy highway. What was really disappointing is the hoops we had to jump through after the stay was paid for upfront. We were asked to have each child's parent sign a waiver even though the document indicated that if the parents were in attendance there was no need for their signature. When we arrived the temperature inside the house was 86 degrees even though we had advised the owner when we would be there. (He was able to monitor the temp remotely) We were also warned that there were surveillance cameras so that if we did not comply with the rules that we had agreed to he would have evidence. We would not rent here again.

Disliked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Not a good experience
Well the Air conditioner wasn't working well we woke up sweating. We thought the property owner controlled the air from her phone. The motion lights went off all night and we were freaked out. We saw flashlights out our windows and thought someone was outside. We left the 1st night and drove 4 hours there and back to relax did not happen. We paid got there Friday paid until Monday and didn't even get half our refund back. My husband is in law enforcement and was so pissed off. We lost so much money and had to cancel events. Oh well we learned the hardway.
