Initially, I was shocked to find myself in a room with clear signs of significant moisture issues. As soon as I entered, the odor was overwhelming. Despite the hotel staff's efforts to mask the unpleasant smell with various scented products, it didn’t help at all. The room itself was spacious and nicely decorated, so I attempted to remove the scented items and opened the windows, but after an hour, the smell persisted. I requested a room change, and the hotel staff, who were very friendly, accommodated my request. The second room was smaller, but thankfully, it didn’t have a strong odor at first. However, over time, I noticed a distinct humidity smell. It was no surprise to discover mold on the bathroom walls. I had to place a towel over the air duct to minimize the odor. My friend, who stayed in the adjacent room, experienced the same issue. We didn’t spend much time in our rooms, so we chose not to switch hotels, but keep in mind that the hotel is quite isolated—you’ll need to take a cab to reach restaurants and the beach.

We got a large private pool in our villa with beautiful garden, the bathtub is facing the pool and have direct access to it. Room is absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast is buffet and changing menu every day, super delicious. We had our romantic dinner with sunset view at their rooftop restaurant

The lobby was gorgeous then up a lovely tree lined path and thw wooden doors opened to my own private paradise. Private pool beautiful rooms with lounge and the biggest bed with big comfy pillows. Bathroom with great shower bath fluffy towels. everything smelt divine. Ha d lunxh in the resrauranr ans buffet breafast and room.service. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Treated myseld to a massage in the on sire spa. Convenient free shuttle to the beach.

A Perfect Bali Getaway at The Leaf Jimbaran
My stay at The Leaf Jimbaran in Bali was nothing short of extraordinary, marking a perfect return after 15 years. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm welcome and exceptional customer service stood out, embodying why Indonesia is renowned for its hospitality. Traveling solo, I was thrilled with the tailored itinerary the hotel staff curated, including hidden beaches, top-notch restaurants, and lively nightlife spots like Shishi Nightclub—a true gem. The villa was spacious and luxurious, featuring a private pool that added a touch of paradise to my stay. The daily breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the cooking class I participated in was a highlight, giving me a hands-on experience with traditional Balinese cuisine. The spa and wellness facilities are superb, offering a mix of traditional Balinese treatments and modern comforts that left me completely rejuvenated. One video I made sums up my experience: “I am living in my dream.” This couldn’t be truer. I’m already planning my return in December. Beautiful villa, garden and i booked One bedroom villa with private pool which was great. It was my best sleep during my holiday cuz the bed was super comfy. Delicious buffet breakfast. They have rooftop restaurant for dinner with amazing sunset backdrop. I had relaxing spa and nails done there. What an amazing stay at The Leaf Jimbaran. Definitely come back

While this property is nice but here are the issues I faced after paying a good deal of money for a villa recently over new year period - daily power outage due to some fault in the Villa. NYE was the worst as no staff and we spent 4-5 hours with poor sleep in heat with mosquito bites - some staff are helpful but none offered anything to solve this issue. I had to ask and negotiate to get a F&B charge & airport drop off as compensation. They neither moved us to another villa not proactively offered anything for customer experience. - pool was laden with leaves always , no cleaning unless you call and ask for it . The room & bathroom & other areas in the villa was good but the daily power outage and lack of staff’s or hotel manager’s willingness to anything about it makes us in no rush to book this place again. I’ll go somewhere else next I’m in Bali.

Apparently The Leaf is just coming up 4 years old but it could be 15 years old by the look of the place. External floorboards lifting, lacking stain polish, poor bathroom lighting and the main door lock not working (taking we frustrated guests up to 10-minutes to access our room after 12-15 swipe card attempts), are just some of the issues. The 1.5 meter crack in the shower recess glass (held together with sticky tape), has been in that state for over 12-months based on older reviews. Surely the business has property and public indemnity insurance!! The food is basic and with breakfast closing at 10:30am has surprisingly the clearing away and non-replacement of offerings at 09:55am! The staff are gorgeous, professional and well trained.

My wife has a restricted diet, she particularly enjoyed the variety she had to choose from and had a big breakfast each day that suited her requirements. The location was also excellent with cheap taxi rides wherever we needed to go and a free hotel transfer bus to Kuta each day or samastra or the beach. The room was very large and private we could sit by our own private pool each day, no smokers with no one else around, very private. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the Leaf and will be staying there ourselves in future visits.

We stayed in a Spearmint villa with a private pool, sun deck, kitchenette and a lot of open space all for our own use. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has two restaurants offering good food at a reasonable price. The menus however do not have too many choices. Dining in the rooftop restaurant while watching the sun set was one of the highlights of the stay. Location of the hotel is not good if you want to reach anything of interest within walking distance. Overall speaking, this hotel is a good pick for a couple looking for a spacious environment with a high degree of privacy.

Nice Villa, good menu and food in a quite location
The hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. The room was always cleaned well and efficiently. Breakfast was delivered on time. Private pool water was clean and enjoyable to have a swim in. Located 2.8 km's from Jimbaran Bay which was convenient by scooter and 15 mins by scooter to Balangan.

Hotel staff was really nice, but there was nothing around the hotel (couldn't even really walk outside the hotel gate even if there was anything to walk to), and food was pretty bad (and with the location there was no other option for food).
