"hello just wanted to let you know if you had fans for the upstairs windows then we would have to leave the AC on for half the day,See there only on e window in each room so the cool air dosent come in.maybe a 3 speed fan and it has to fit like 24 inch fan big enough to cool the room...wasted alot of electricity with AC on all the time.thanks the fans are cheap in comparison."

The home is located in a small quiet village between the Pine Creek and the Pine Creek Rail trail and surrounded by mountain ridges. A very lovely setting. "This is our 4th visit, 3 in the winter and 1 in the summer. Winter is our best time as we make fires in the fire pit every day (weather permitting) . We walk the trails with our two golden doodles and they sometimes have more fun than we do!! I’m an avid hunter and love to shoot guns. Great time away!!! We will be back!!"

"We have wanted to get up to the Pine Creek Valley to bicycle thru the PA Grand Canyon gorge. The cabin was perfect with the bike trail on one side of the property and river on the other. It turned out to be a little chilly to be on the trail everyday but the days we got in were perfect. "

"This cabin was so clean. It was wonderful. Located on the main highway, however we never noticed any traffic noise. We were even out in the backyard with a fire. The location to the Rail Trail and Pine Creek was literally a walk through the yard. The property is very well maintained and very clean. "Super impressive home in the woods. We stayed four nights at a great price. Extras were great like soap for dishes, hands, laundry. So quiet and peaceful here. Great time hope to return in spring to see more animals and the stars. It was cloudy most days and below zero one night! Car had a tough time on the iced roads but we made it! Amazing time we will remember forever. Hot tub made the trip extra special. The guest book is full of fun stories from other renters. All the windows were great....

"The location is perfect, borders the rail trail, creek is just off back yard. The house needs updating and was not the cleanest. Some curtains were ripped and clipped together. Windows over the whole house were very dirty. The back deck is very unsafe, needs repaired. All that being said, we will rent again, just wish some of the issues could be addressed."
