"Very quaint and homey place. Fire pit was a plus. There was a book for guest suite instructions, chips, hot cocoa and cider was available. Very very clean. Seeing deer in the backyard was soooo cool!"

"We had a great time both in the property and in the community. The grand kids are requesting a return trip. We spent a lot of time outdoors hiking, tossing Frisbies, and star watching with our telescope. The kids and adults had a great time in the play room and pool room competing with each other. "Owners are quick to respond to any issues. Unfortunately we did not get to see the million dollar view due to weather. We needed a visit from maintenance and the cleaning team during our visit. Both individuals were awesome. We will stay again if in the area. "

"My girlfriend and I stayed at the nest over the weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was so cozy and gorgeous. The view to the lake was fantastic from both the cabin and the hotub. It was just right for the two of us. Perfect for a short little get away from the city. We will definitely be back. Couldn't recommend it more for a wonderful couples retreat. "

"We came in to meet family staying in nearby Amicalola Park. It was so impressed by the Big Canoe community and the hospitality of the owners. They spared no expense to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. There were 3 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room. Also the kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were top notch. We highly recommend this place."

"Thank you so much for providing such a warm and comfortable home. The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. It looks exactly as pictured. So cute, quiet, and peaceful. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We loved the comfy beds, the rocking chairs on the porch, the fireplace, and the firepit for toasting smores. The community was lovely. We went horseback riding, saw a family of bears and lots of deer. What more could you ask for? It felt like a little home away...
