"This was our third stay here in past few years. Recent lobby renovations are almost complete and a nice upgrade. Our ;arge marina view room had only half a view due to an adjoining wall that blocked much of the view, but you can go out on the balcony and look around it. "The Lafayette hotel is a hip hotel that turns into a giant nightclub on the weekends. We had a lot of fun having a cocktail by the pool and enjoying the ecletic design of the rooms. I will say that the place is old and has its quirks, our room had this loud knocking sound against the wall from laundry equipment being used by hospital staff, but ultimately its a great experience. Also Parking around the hotel kind of sucks but there is 40$ per night valet."

Didn’t use pool, but was nice they had one. Everything was just fine and served its purpose for a weekend trip.
