"The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

"The cabin was very nice, clean and had everything you needed. Bit of a problem with drowsy bees though. Had to rid around 10 of them. Not sure where they were coming from but Overall it was a lovely place!"

"Overall we were really happy with our stay! Clean interior, quiet neighborhood and all the essentials were provided. Wegmans grocery store is very close as well as plenty of local restaurants. The host was incredibly responsive which I really appreciated! Just an FYI: there is no direct lake view from the property other than between the houses across the street but it's easily within walking distance. This was a perfect property for a quiet, relaxing get away."

"We all had a great time!! Fishing, bird photography along the lake, dinner outside with beautiful view of lake Erie. Kids enjoyed the playground and skipping rocks. "

"We enjoy staying at Findlay Lake when we visit the ski area for the long holiday weekend. Sunny Side Up was a very nice and clean place. It was a little small for us and during the winter there is no access to the extended porch. We didn't spend a lot of time there (skiing all day) so it wasn't a big deal. We had a very nice time!"

"This rental exceeded our expectations. The location was great, close enough to canoe to the lake. The host goes out of their way for renters to have a great experience providing basic needs that others almost never provide. The communication with the host was great as they responded to every message in a timely manner. We hope to rent again in the future."
