I would like to mention that the staff were once again very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. "Fantastic value hotel in a great location. Only a couple of minutes walk from the centre. Room was basic but had all the essentials. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Asked for a late check out the night before I was due to leave and was sorted in minutes (did charge £25). Would thoroughly recommend and will be my choice when I come back to Oban. "

"I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!"
