"The property is older but very well maintained. HVAC system updated recently. Gounds are very nice for spending time outside. Beach area, boat docks, pool cabana, picnic tables, grills. Grills are cleaned by staff daily. They have kayaks and paddleboards for use. Service was great, all requests were taken care of."

"My husband and I traveled to Amara Cay Resort for a 4 night stay and were very impressed with the whole experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food, drinks and service were excellent as well. We loved the reusable water bottles they gave us at check in, I have never been offered that before and thought it was a smart idea! They also had other great things they offered like a shuttle service and fishing. The beach and pool were beautiful even though it was too chilly for us to utilize the weekend we were here. If you’re traveling to Islamorada for business or vacation we definitely recommend staying at Amara Cay! "

"The pictures online do not do this place justice. Tucked between two larger hotels, it’s like an oasis. Our room in particular had a grassy lawn facing the water, was spotless and well appointed. Small beach, pool and sandy area (volleyball court) is adjacent to a dock and boat launch for interesting views. Lots of iguanas and a local rooster completes the ambiance. "
