The Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave is a large network of tunnels adorned with impressive stalactites. Note that the cave is alive, meaning its stalagmites and stalactites continue to grow due to ongoing water flow. The railed path that meanders through the caves is 2,165 feet (660 meters) long, although the total length of the caves is 10,500 feet (3,200 meters).

Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave is in the southwestern section of the island, at the southern end of the Banna Park Nature Reserve, a 20-minute drive from the Ishigaki Airport. Walk here from the downtown area of Ishigaki City in about 40 minutes. Visit nearby attractions, such as the Ishigaki Dam, the Jido Park and the Maesato Golf Course.
