"Found this place while looking for dog friendly lodging while on a road trip. Did not disappoint. They don’t charge ridiculous fees for dogs, in fact, they charge nothing! Every single employee here was genuinely friendly and helpful. The lodging was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. The showers were in the main building and everything was very clean and well taken care of. We will be back and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, but doesn’t always want all the work...

"Loved being there. The place was very clean and loved the outdoor decks and screened in porch. Water pressure was great. WIFI was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware's. Ed and Shawn were good at communication. The surrounding are is beautiful. We went to Grand Marias (50 miles) and had a great time poking around town and going to dinner. Definately would sstay here again. "

"This property was so beautiful waking up to the views of the lake at sunrise and sunset, the fires are night looking under the stars was incredible. The cabin was in a great location to all the hiking trails and beach locations. We saw a bear on the property two days in a row eating berries. I would definitely stay at this cabin again! "

"Our family of four greatly enjoyed our stay in this truly beautiful log cabin in the woods overlooking Lake Superior. Just a short drive up the hill provides seclusion and views of the lake that cannot be beat. The owners provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay - a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, clean linens, a gas grill and plenty of games - but truly, the views from the living room, large wraparound deck, and beautiful screened-in porch provided all the entertainment we needed....

"The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. "We brought our Girl Scout troop to stay for the weekend. Cute place, great layout. Couple of the beds were not quite what we expected (twin futons in loft) but over all it was great for the # we had. Girls loved having a room to themselves and the board games were a hit.
