"Enjoyed my stay at Gateway. Although the exterior and hallways give an institutionalized vibe, my studio room was absolutely wonderful. It was very functional and relaxing place to stay after a hardday skiing. I would stay there again. I did have some issues with an extension cord that was used to plug up appliances in the kitchen area. Also found the kitchen area, especially at night was dark and needed more light. Overall, a great place to stay! A great place to stay with easy walking access...

"I stayed here for a week in March when visiting my daughter in Golden. The suite is wonderful. Has everything you need for a longer stay. The neighborhood is quiet, which was great for me. The location is a 12-15 min drive from downtown Golden. There aren't many amenities, restaurants or stores within walking distance. You will need a car. It worked out wonderfully for me."

"This was a great place for our friend group, with plenty of room for 16 adults. You are in the mountains, but it is just a short drive from Boulder. The views from the property are awesome. Beds were comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy. One of my favorite moments of the weekend was walking down to the ponds and doing a walk around the property. There is a short, but fun trail that makes you feel in nature without leaving the property. "

"My family and I had a very nice stay at Dennis's house in the woods. It's a very nice place, that was very clean and there were thoughtful updates that made it very comfortable. We had several unforeseen issues come up during our stay, but that brings me to the most important part of this stay. The owner, Dennis, was extremely easy to contact and was very responsive to our issues. He was there as soon as he could to fix the things that he could fix (replaced thermostats and CBs for baseboard...

"Charming house will all we needed. Easy parking. Safeway across the road. Next to a busy road but surprisingly quiet. If you are a light sleeper take the upstairs room as the house is creaky but it’s part of the charm. Felt like insta-hot water. Easy check out protocol. Two blocks from downtown Golden and Mines. We found it a great home base. "
