We just had a bit of trouble getting the hot water going and the pipes make a lot of noise while you use the shower, but other than that, we loved it here and would love to come back! "The schoolhouse was exactly what we were looking for with our large group with kids 2-6. Lots of space to play inside and outside. Good spot to explore the South of Iceland, close to the ocean as well as Selfoss. Fantastic smelling hand soap and a great Kitchen and dining hall to have meals in. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when we had questions."

"This was the perfect spot for us to stay outside of the city. The house was spacious and well-equipped for all of our needs. There was breathtaking scenery all around us, three beautiful dogs that kept us company on the large outdoor deck. If you are looking for a quiet retreat to his place is perfect. It was close enough to Reykjavik that we also did all the tourist things. We would come again."

"Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. Man kann von dort aus allerhand unternehmen, ohne ewig weit fahren zu müssen: Wir waren in Reykjavik, auf den Westmänner-Inseln, in...

Mitten im Golden Circle gelegen, kann man von hier aus viel erkunden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. "Lovely vacation home with tons of amenities and beautiful views. The kitchen was topnotch and well stocked--tons of pots, plates and glasses. The hosts had even provided salt, pepper, sugar and coffee which was much appreciated. The bath towels were very new and very soft. Ample closet space throughout the home. There were even lots of board games for the kids. "
