3rd time with these guys and once again excellent stay. The dorm room, bathroom, and kitchen were very clean and orderly. Their place is more like love for the guests. Cathy went above to helped me with late check-in. Loved the bed comforter, lamp, power strip, and nice big hotel towel. Bedroom also have privacy curtains and I love the combo storage locker. The bathroom has lovely rain shower, very nice unique wash clothes, bath gel, and other gels. Kitchen frid was big, and clean. Some good food and snacks options for reasonable prices. Free breakfast cereal (frosted, honey gram, and Cheerios) and fresh milk. Looking forward to my next stay. I say they provide love and not just a service.

This place is really a gem. I stay here when I’m in HTX for work. Great value for the price. And it’s become a treat to get to visit with all the other travelers staying from all over the world. Obviously hostels are not everyone’s cup of tea, but this is the nicest, cleanest, and most well kept one I’ve ever come across. The owners are nice people who stay and visit with everyone in the evenings until 7 or so. I really enjoy staying here.

This was a solo trip to Houston, a beautiful city, for my birthday. While i was on my flight to Houston, i decided to stay at a hostel. I looked at a couple facilities but Mycrib was affordable and appeared to be a safe, clean, place to stay. My stay was comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and cool to hang out with. I would definitely recommend this hostel to any small group or solo travelers.

Highly recommend this place. Cathy the host was great! She communicated clearly. 15 min walk from Greyhound station. Area is quiet and I felt safe. One of the standout features is the abundance of amenities. The common areas are spacious and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing or meeting fellow travelers. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals if you're looking to save a bit on dining out. There's also a cozy lounge area with plenty of seating, ideal for unwinding after a long day at the conference. The hostel offers free Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable—crucial for catching up on work and staying connected. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which included a variety of options to start the day off right. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations for local attractions. The location in Midtown is another huge plus.
