I showed up at 10:02 at the front door and tried calling - no one answered. And then I saw the sign saying to go to the restaurant. I ran to the restaurant hoping I made it in time and luckily I did. "We stayed here for two nights. Hotel had a beautiful lobby and great bar. The rooms ran very warm, we couldn’t figure out how to change the settings so it didn’t feel like we were staying in a safari, also shower weren’t great, it’s a removable head but placed very low. Breakfast was great, tons of options. We used the gym and pool, you have to pay, it’s a nice amenity but very outdated space, esp the gym minimal equipment. "

"Worth the price. Location is excellent as it located across the first bus stop, which is easy for people to catch the bus to the airport (do not have to worry about the seat on the bus). Very clean and safe (for solo traveller). Facilities are all in a good condition. Convenience as the Lidl (grocery store) is next to the hotel, as well as the Metro. "I stayed at the Hermitage with my husband and 18 month old and it was brilliant! For us it was the perfect location and we were able to walk everywhere, we got to most sights within 30 minutes and got up to the castle in under an hour. "The Galileo is a beauitful building with a grand facade, big rooms but there are dated and tired looking. Asked reception a couple of questions but the answers were limited. Also no milk for a hot drink in room, when i asked reception, the answer kitchen is closed!"

Great for young families

"We had a really great stay as a family here. It was our first time abroad as a family and we were nervous about how well our little one would manage, but we thought this hotel was perfect for our needs. The room and bathroom were really spacious, bed was nice and large, the travel cot was good, and it was generally pretty quiet. Breakfast was lovely - really nice selection, high chairs available, and open until 11am. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and most had very good English. We also thought the location was excellent - close enough to the centre that everything is very accessible, but on a side street that wasn’t too loud or busy. Would definitely recommend, whether travelling with kids or not. "
