When checking in Alison on reception was really kind, telling my husband he could go back to the hotel and use their facilities even after check out. She even loaned us her own usb plug overnight so we could charge our devices. We have known the hotel for years, my husband went to King Edward’s school across the road, and I used to stay on business in the 1980’s and 90’s. We also held my husband’s 60th birthday party there...

"Lovely refurbished bedroom with good amenities (when you find the hairdryer by lifting up the desk!), great to have a fridge in the room. Friendly and helpful Reception staff and friendly Breakfast staff. The hotel is an easy walk to Ponds Forge swimming pool which was the reason for our stay. We would have liked breakfast to start a bit earlier than 8a.m. at the weekends as it meant my daughter could not have breakfast before she had to be at Ponds Forge for warm up. We were a bit disappointed...
