A quiet retreat, fun on the beach, shopping, art, or lively entertainment, Saugatuck has something for everyone! Our luxury cabin, Heavenly 7 Retreat has a rustic, up-north feel with luxury amenities that will make you feel right at home!

Our three bedroom, 2.5 bath luxury rustic cabin features all the comforts of home and more. All in a wooded setting with a pool and lake access. Get away from it all and curl up with a good book next to the 22'' soaring stone fireplace. Or stay in touch with the outside world with five tv's and high-speed wifi internet access. Fully furnished for your comfort. Just bring your suitcase and your spirit of adventure. The custom kitchen is fully stocked for all your catering and entertaining needs.

When you walk into the main living area, you immediately will notice the grand, vaulted ceilings and unique appointments that make these cabins special. Curl up on the leather couches in front of the towering, 22' tall stone fireplace with a good book, or just relax with friends and family. Overlooking the great room, there's an expanded loft with futon, another TV/DVD combo, desk, and plenty of room to stretch out. For those who wish to stay in touch with the outside world, there is a 40' or larger LCD HDTV in the main area with local channels, Roku & DVD. High-speed wireless internet service is also complimentary during your stay, as are FREE local calls. We also provide you with Towels & Linens!

Our retreats were given special touches not found in other cabins, such as a romantic main floor master suite featuring a queen size bed and sliding glass door which opens to the screened-in back porch. The master bath is appointed with Spa-quality amenities such as a Jacuzzi Tub, his & hers designer sinks, and a large, separate shower. Also, to make you feel right at home, are his and hers closets, a 6 drawer dresser, TV/DVD combo, and ceiling fan.

Heavenly 7 Retreat features 2 upstairs bedrooms, both with a Full over Queen Bunk, full-size closets, log dressers, and flat screen TV w/DVD player.

The expanded loft sleeps 2 more on a futon sofa and has games, a desk, TV/DVD, and 2 ceiling fans. Located upstairs is also a full bath with a tub/shower combo. An additional half-bath is located on the main level.

The custom kitchen is fully stocked for all your catering and entertaining needs. The cabin features custom premium countertops, stainless appliances, coffee maker, and so much more! Dine inside in the dining room, or outside at the table located on the back porch! Located just off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience.

Our cabins feature unlimited access to the heated association pool (seasonally available during warmer months), which is located a very short walk away! Goshorn Lake is just a few steps farther down the boardwalk where you can cast a line or row your kayak in peace and quiet. Bring the bikes to take the bike path into Saugatuck. Bring some steaks and your appetite and grill out!

Wedding Weekend
We stayed here for a wedding at the Felt mansion. The location was great for the wedding and a quick drive to downtown Saugatuck. The cabin was well appointed and had plenty of room for everyone. The amenities were fantastic and would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting the Saugatuck area.

Heavenly 7 Retreat was beyond our expectations! The “log cabin” was spacious, comfortable and the owner thought of all the amenities that a family would need and then some. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. A fully equipped kitchen aided in our meal preparation.our grandchildren ages 5-9 loved the nearby pool and the fishing dock was a big hit! I highly recommend this cabin and complex!

First Class Cabin
We were very happy with our stay in cabin 7. Lori was so easy and nice to work with. All of our inquiries were answered within 24 hours. The cabin was beautiful. It was well stocked and everything was the best of quality. Our whole family enjoyed, especially, the pool and the back porch. Everyone in the community were friendly, as well. We met some very nice people, and the grandchildren even made some new friends. We would highly recommend the Heavenly 7 Retreat.

Highly Recommend!!
This was a cozy, idyllic setting for 3 couples at New Year's! We kept the firing roaring all weekend as the snow fell gently - and persistently! - outside. Lori was so responsive to every little question we had and more than accommodating of our requests. There is plenty of space for six adults to relax and celebrate together. It was clean and the kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. What a find! Believe me when I say that I looked at ALL the options in Saugatuck and Kingfisher Cove for our needs; Heavenly 7 is the best!

Clean, Well Appointed, Perfect Location
I was so excited when I walked in the door (easy access with the code/directions sent by the owner). I could tell right away the home was clean and well cared for. And there was soothing music playing for us, which really added to that feeling! The house had everything we needed - basic products in kitchen including coffee, paper plates, laundry soap, etc. We enjoyed every part of the house including the front porch, screened-in back porch, and the fire pt. I loved the coziness of the upstairs loft with the games and furniture, but we just didn't use it because the weather was so perfect. I can't think of a better location for our family trip to Lake Michigan. We were able to access all the activities we wanted to within minutes, and we were well situated to enjoy South Haven, Saugatuck and Holland. We could access the bike trail from the house and take a walk to Dairy Daze for a giant ice cream cone. It looks like the whole community is vacation rentals. I was not sure of that until we got there, but I did like that aspect. It feels like a tiny community of vacationers. The only downside to our stay was having to wash the towels before 10 am check out. It is early to get everyone up and showered and the laundry done especially not knowing how long the laundry cycle would take. We wanted to make sure we got the towels in the dryer before leaving. The wash cycle finished at 9:59 am. We loaded the dryer and walked out the front door at 10:01 am! A suggestion to the owner would be to add that to the check out notes. This obviously did not detract from our stay in any way, but wanted to mention it. You cannot go wrong renting this wonderful cabin! We are already talking about booking the same place next year.

High hopes but underwhelmed.
Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay as much as we had hoped. The cabin itself is very nice and well appointed; however, it is located in a community of cabins that are all on top of each other right off of a major road. It is not secluded and lacks the outdoors feel. The fire pit is shared with the neighboring cabin. This was an issue during our stay. I should mention that Lori was very helpful when we called her with this issue. It would have been nice to not have had the problem in the first place. The cabin is best for one family rather than two as there is limited sitting space in the living room and the upstairs bedrooms are best for children with less than comfortable bunk beds in each room. Having 2 1/2 baths was wonderful for both of our families. Having laundry machines and a dishwasher was also very nice. The pool was across the street and a hit once a neighbor asked the pool man to raise the temperature. Gosshorn lake is a very short walk away and Lake Michigan is a 5-10 minute drive. Our last night was ruined by a faulty smoke detector that went off for 40 minutes while we were trying to sleep. A short was caused by water (condensation?) in the wires. A handyman came out at midnight to stop the alarms after we called Lori. We learned then that there was mold surrounding the alarm on the ceiling (yikes). In summary, Lori was very responsive. The cabin was cute and well stocked but best for only 1 family. Overall, however, we would have rather stayed somewhere else given the lack of seclusion and the significant issues we faced during our vacation.

Cabin was very clean, kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. Huge back porch if/when mosquitos are out (we experienced none). Could go on and on because the place was great--but the photos tell the story. Will recommend to people we know.

Great Property in Great Community

Family vacation
We were very pleased with this rental. We always look for 5 star ratings and this unit did not disappoint. It was clean and maintained. We took advantage of all it had to offer including the grill, fire pit, pool, and WiFi. We enjoyed our time in the cabin but it was very close to town, the beaches, dune rides, and ice cream. Highly recommended and would rent it again.
