"We booked our trip super last min and got a great deal. Will definitely come back. Only complaint was that the room I originally booked was under construction so they moved us to a different building and room. So our view was of the top of the hotel. Other then that the staff was amazing and the luau was a ton of fun. They kept the drinks coming and since it was right at our hotel we just needed to walk up to our room. I will also say that there is quite a few homeless people who hang out...

"This was my 9 time to Kona & have mostly stayed at the Kona Reef. Love the property & the location. This condo was great. Beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen etc. Would have been nice to have beach chairs which other places have had, but otherwise no complaints. Mahalo! "

"While the condo was in an ideal location in Kona, the amenities at the property were less than what I expected. The shower and bathroom sink were filthy. There were several hairs in the shower the day we arrived and what looked like toothpaste in the bathroom sink. The bathroom mirror was also dirty, with water spots all over it. The condo needs a good overall cleaning, as there was dust and dirt all over the walls, fans, decorations, etc. It is also a little outdated. The TV should be updated...
