"This place was great. Th only suggestion for prospective customers especially from countries where smoking in hotel rooms is not ok is to make sure that they do not book a smokers room by accident. "
"This is a great stay in a more quiet area of Kyoto and was about a 15-20 minute walk into the downtown core. Overall, this was clean, had friendly staff and lots of restaurant options nearby. "

"Great location, out of the main part of Kyoto but still with good transport options. Room was a good size and clean. We had breakfast included in our stay which was good to start the day, quite small selection. We used the washing machines on site which were easy. Value for money was excellent, recommend if you are wanting to stick to a budget but not compromise on the important things."

"Rooms are small. But ideal location for shopping and dining. There are two properties with similar names. So a bit confusing when first arriving as there is another one much nearer to the train station . "

"Room size was excellent -separate toilet and large bathroom with shower wet room.Large TV (didnt use much) Location is excellent. Short walk to either main shopping/food area or riverside. I found it easier to use Sanjo station as nearest underground-just short walk over the bridge. Riverside is well used by locals and great place to relax. Hotel staff were great and v helpful. Check in was quick."
"Very happy with our stay at APA. Easy check in, could leave our bags as we arrived early.bStaff friendly and professional.
Room size was small of course but not as bad as anticipated. The bed was king size and very comfortable!
Very clean. Clean towels dropped off each day. Quiet. Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"We stayed for a week and only had carry on roller bags. Our first reaction when we got into and our room was it was too small. there was no actual closet, no drawers to put our stuff in and no shelves.
We got used to it and appreciated the lounge in the basement with laundry facilities, coffee, books and a sitting area.
Great food, great service and location. We would stay there again."
"Room appeared exactly like pictures. Appreciated large tv console and table with chairs for unpacking. Comfortable twin beds and hotel pajamas. Delicious breakfast buffet. Close walking distance to subway station, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. "
