"Two adults, three kids (9,9 and 10) and a dog. Great house with lots of room and everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Love this house! This is the 3rd time we’ve rented the Taylor II house. 5 stars across the board!"

The house was much larger than expected and the beds were amazingly comfortable.. what a lovely neighborhood tucked away from the hwy and settled win with just a a perfectview from most rooms in the house. Being able to just walk out on to the beach was really important to us! The trail was easybut does require the ability to climb over some of the driftwood and wood debris...

"The location is awesome. We had high winds and rain the first day. So the giant picture window was great for sitting inside and storm watching. Right across the street is a stairway down to the beach. Lots of tide pools at low water and nice pebble beach to walk on. We brought our small dog and the the owners were very accomodating. They even had dog beds, dishes, and towels. Great spot on the water. The road can get a little busy but quiets down in the evening, and everyone was cautious...

"This house is beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. "

"This was just as described and just the getaway place we needed. The only complaint is the size of the shower. It's not the biggest around, but also not the smallest we've ever had before either. The home itself feels secluded without being in the middle of nowhere. While it's not close to the beach, it doesn't take long to get there or town. We would happily stay here again! "

"Our stay at the little rental was quite comfortable and we loved the authentic surfer paraphernalia that decorated the space. It was calming looking out at the ocean in the mornings. The beach access was so close and it felt like our own private beach. It was such a pleasure meeting the hosts who were very helpful with their recommendations. Being able to stay so close to the magical Redwoods was such a treat and we will definitely rent the space again."

"My family (my husband and me plus four 20-something children) spent the week of Christmas here. Best. Vacation. Ever. This house was perfect for the 6 of us. Plenty of room to be together or not. Well equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook for ourselves (I easily managed a rib roast and homemade pies for Christmas dinner here because there were roasting pans, pie plates, and even a pastry blender already there!) "The hot tub overlooking the beach was phenomenal. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and loved the beach all to ourselves. Town was a quick drive, which made the house very convenient. A perfect getaway for a family to drive to the Redwoods, as well. We truly loved our time there! "

"Loved this house. It was big and had everything we needed. Right near all the places to visit to see the Redwoods. Enjoyed the Elk Valley Casino in Crescent City also. Lots of choices for restaurants to eat dinner in town. "

"My sister and I took our elderly dad to the coast for Valentine's, deciding to spend the day with the first man to ever love us, and whom we ever loved. Dad has gotten where he gets cold easily, so he doesn't enjoy the beach anymore because he gets cold and he has balance issues, so being able to sit in the living room and watch the ocean is really perfect. Our only hitch was that a previous guest had turned of the heat, and because it is radiant floor heating it takes a LONG time to heat up,...
