Beckenham 205 is a beautifully updated two-bedroom, two-bath villa located in Port Royal Village. This home is on the second floor with no elevator in the building. It is a five-minute walk to the beach alongside the lovely Westin Hotel. It has a large living/dining area with a flatscreen TV and a sleeper sofa. The balcony is off the living room with ample seating to view the lagoon. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the living room.

Bedroom and Bathroom Configurations
The main bedroom has a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and access to a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a flatscreen TV, balcony access, and a private bath with a tub/shower combo.

Great place for the family!
One of the best places our family has ever stayed out. Very spacious! Has everything you need to cook with, plus chairs and sand toys if you travel with kids. Easy walk to the beach! We will seek this rental in the future.

Quiet beach condo vacation
We loved this condo. The balcony was amazing with a beautiful view of the golf course and little pond. We enjoyed watching the wildlife. It was very quiet and scenic around the condo. Some of the benefits of staying here washer and dryer, ceiling fans and air conditioning, everything you would need for a family beach trip. We didn’t know it would have beach towels, chairs, boogie boards for kids, some toys, and a tent. This would be helpful in the listing. We rented all those things prior and a wagon which was very helpful. We loved staying here and would love to return someday! Great place. Only place for improvement would be better mattresses.

Very spacious but some improvements would be helpful.
Very nice condo with plenty of room to move around, washer-dryer, 2 full bathrooms with an additional "make-up" counter in master bathroom. TVs in each room besides the living room. Ice-maker works! Keyless entry a plus. Suggestions: Lights needed in ceiling fans in all 3 major rooms, as the current lamps are not strong enough for adequate lighting. More tableware like dishes, mugs, etc. Coasters for beverages on the two tables would prevent any glass breakage or damage. We had a major housekeeping issue, which Tiffany and Alex resolved for us. Be sure to check under beds and everywhere else thoroughly to make sure the unit is appropriately cleaned. Not mentioned in the reviews: a 15-20 minute walk to the beach; 10 minute bike ride. If you park in the Islanders Beach metered spaces, it costs a quarter per 15 minutes, or a dollar for an hour, and you can only use quarters, which we got from a local bank. Even without a residential parking pass, you are allowed to drop off your beach gear and passengers adjacent to the boardwalk, then park your car in the metered slots.

A Fishless Week
Place was nicely equipped with all the creature comforts except coffee which I really should not have counted on! Parking was fine. The only thing lacking was a nice Red Drum on our charter trip!

Our family visited Hilton Head and this property was better than expected and in a great location. The unit was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Separate climate controls for the 2 BRs was a special plus. Huge patio overlooking golf course and creek provided afternoon relaxation. Less than 10min walk to one of the best beach parks. Extremely quiet area yet a short 5 min drive to Publix or 15 min to main shopping/dining areas. Will definitely return.

The place was nice decor but dated oven and kitchen poorly equipped.
There. were 2 worn out fry pans and 2 sauce pans. Dishes were a mixture and lacking a lot. The blankets were horrible - worn out and dirty. Luckily I live close by and brought some of dishes and clean blankets.

Quiet and convenient

Comfortable
We stay in the area frequently but never before at this property. It was smaller then we are use to but clean and quiet—we were upstairs. Downstairs neighbors clearly heard us walking around. Beds were comfortable and all appliances in good working order.

Perfect Getaway
The home was perfect for our short weekend getaway. It is on the second floor so that may be an issue for those with mobility limitations. The two bedrooms were on separate sides of the house so we had some space from the kids. The drive to the beach was about five minutes. There is public (non-resident) metered parking available. You can actually walk to the beach if you don't want to drive. There is also a pool on-site at the property if you don't want the beach. The home is in a good location near shopping and restaurants. If you don't want to go out for food there are several places that deliver (Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc). There were a few restaurants that weren't delivering or taking to-go orders, but that wasn't a big deal since they were within a few minutes of the property. I highly recommend this property for a short or long-term rental. You won't be disappointed.

Great Trip
We travelled during April school break with our family, including children. There was plenty of space for our family, with the two bedrooms and pull out sofa. The unit was as pictured; spacious and clean. The booking, check-in/out process was a breeze and the service was great. We had to contact the property manager for a question about the unit during our stay and they went out of their way to answer our question very promptly and on a holiday.

October 2018 Stay
The condo was very nice and accommodated our family well. However, we never had WiFi even after maintenance came. The password never worked. We also never had tv in bedroom with two beds. Granted we were not there a lot but would have been nice to have in the evenings while in bed. Overall we were satisfied but those issues need to be addressed because we paid for something we did not get.

June 2017 Stay
We were not able to get into our unit right away. This was disappointing after a 11 hour drive. Our unit smelled like mold. There was a dehumidifier in one of the bedrooms. Every 5 hours you needed to dump the water. The mold and dampness flared up my allergies to the point I developed a bad cough. I asked other renters in units by us and they did not have mold or dehumidifiers in there units. Our unit was not clean upon arrival. Food in the couches and on the floor. The decks were full of spider webs and hives and very dirty. The decks were not maintained. Decor was okay but needs some updates. Knobs off doors, ceiling in the bathrooms were pealing. Unfortunately, I have to say I would not rent this unit again. The area is nice. The beach is clean. A lot to do here. Gracie bike rental was awesome. Renting bikes is the way to go why staying here.
