"It was a good experience. Check in was a little unorthodox but everything worked out. It is a great house. A little older with the actual feel of a well loved southern beach home. It had a lot of character and it told a real story of the people that own and love the house. If walls could talk I bet it would have some wonderful stories to tell. "Great place. Very spacious and they had everything a person needed for an extended stay. My kids are in their 20’s and live in the Hilton head area, and they really enjoyed it as well. Owner was very easy to get a hold of and responded immediately to any questions I might have. I will say my only questions were about the check in process and how to get a pass for an extra vehicle, which was accommodated immediately. "The negative: If you are looking for true beach access, this is not for you. To get to the beach, you have to walk about 10 minutes through the woods. The beach is fairly deserted, very "marshy", lots of dead ocean creatures, no chair rentals or vendors. We ended up driving everyday about 20 minutes to Coligny. Also, the house is near a small airport and planes flew over many times each day (sometimes very low). The positive: The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Beautifully furnished....
