This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet  fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.

Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.

Beautifully remodeled, this light, bright and airy home has been completely redesigned to take advantage of its lush setting.  Located at the end of the road, it provides maximum privacy yet is only 2.5 miles from downtown.  Unplug, relax and recharge in this beautiful, completely renovated, mountain getaway in Highlands, NC.

The modern kitchen with seating for four at the large bar is the perfect gathering place and the open concept main floor means you can enjoy a fire in the fireplace while whipping up gourmet meals. All new appliances and plenty of counter space make entertaining a breeze.

Comfy couches, a stone fireplace and a flat screen TV encourage family time and provide a cozy place to watch a movie or curl up with a good book.  The gorgeous ceiling, beautiful floors and light walls all lend to the ambiance of this modern rustic living room.

This home provides plenty of privacy with a queen bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The kids will love the bunk room with its twin over full bunk beds and the second queen bedroom and bathroom downstairs create plenty of space for everyone. With the pull out couch, this home comfortably sleeps 10.

Bring the party outside and enjoy the great outdoor space this home offers.  Relax on the covered, screened porch in front of a fire, enjoy dining al fresco and roast marshmallows in the fire pit.  You will want to spend lots of time outdoors in this beautiful and peaceful setting.  At an elevation of 4,118 feet, Highlands enjoys an average maximum temperature of a cool 76 degrees in the summer so it's the perfect place to beat the summer heat.

Cancellation Policy

Policy (A)  for reservations less than 20 days:
A reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, the renter shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

Policy (B) for reservations of 20 days or more and reservations made 6 months in advance:
NO refund is given unless the property is re-rented under the same terms (Trip insurance is available and recommended to help protect your trip).

The house was clean and as described. Nice Country club neighborhood. The outdoor porch and fire place are nice. Alicen was very helpful every time I called or inquired about anything. I would definitely recommend this property, and especially Alicen with the local rental agency.

Everything was good, except the Wi-Fi! Couldn’t watch TV, or get on Wi-Fi unless you were downstairs in the bunk bedroom! So that was not acceptable! But the location was great and the house was updated! So no complaints except the Wi-Fi situation!

I think it was an A-. Property was clean, recently renovated, and in good shape. Had almost everything you could ask for. Queen bedroom downstairs gets pretty cold and doesn't have a separate heating unit like the kids room. Fireplace was really nice, but needed directions. Took me 20 minutes to figure it out. Family room was really nice. Multi-directional TV mount was a plus, and while the internet wasn't super fast it was good enough for streaming HD content. Location is really good, close to downtown Highlands and on the way to Cashiers. We appreciated the touch of leaving some wine and goodies for us when we arrived. Also the child gate, though I'm not sure if that was the management company or owners or what, but it came in handy at the top of the stairs. Thanks so much again. I'm sure we'll use you again in the future. Good responsiveness and friendly service

Girls Weekend
We spent the weekend in Highlands to celebrate my sister’s engagement. All of the ladies had an amazing time in the cabin. There was plenty of space for us to spread out, yet it was cozy enough to gather and chat. The seating arrangements were wonderful. It would be nice to have an additional table on the front porch. We look forward to visiting in the future.

The property is great. It is at the end of a quite cul de sac with great views and easily accessible. I highly recommend this property The information stream was perfect. The team was timely with information about the property and the local activities. It was nice getting updates as we neared our arrival.
