Fantastic Stay!
Very pet friendly; loved the view of the lake; loved the proximity to the beach (which the dogs enjoyed as well); felt very safe & secure; great appliances & accessories which made meal prep easy; peaceful; close proximity to Bayfield. Will absolutely stay again!

Trash in yard
This from my sister, Gail Trowbridge. I was ill and unable to come. Property was completely open including windows. Garage was open. Lots of trash scattered about yard (animals?). Mice in kitchen. Kind of creepy goat artwork, but that’s personal taste.

Stunning views & great host
We absolutely loved our stay at Sky Fire! The location can't be beat - the sunsets are incredible. The kitchen was very well equipped and we felt right at home. Eli was staying next door and was so welcoming and kind!! Also loved that our dog, Penny, was welcome to join! Will definitely be visiting again some day!!!

Comfortable and quiet
My husband, son and I spent a long weekend relaxing, hiking, and enjoying the view. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Erin communicated well and even made sure we had an instapot for our chili. Despite the rain and lack of winter snow, we still found plenty of beaches and trails to explore nearby.

Had a wonderful stay.
We had a wonderful stay and would stay again. I recommend this place if you want to get away right on the lakes edge. The only thing we didn't realize was that the owner lived in the other half of the building but it wasn't a big issue. She was very helpful.

Mother/Daughter SNOW ❄️ Babies Birthday trip! It has a wonderful view of Lake Superior. This property was easy to find, great U shape driveway & the cabin was stocked very well with extra blankets, towels and kitchen had everything we needed!

Winter Wonderland
This was a much needed getaway that turned into a late winter wonderland. We received ~12 inches of snow during our stay, which kept up mainly inside. The guesthouse provided us with spectacular views and was warm and comfortable. The games and puzzles provided helped to keep us entertained. The few times we were out walking the dogs the entire area was peaceful and serene. Communication about the impending weather and snow removal was excellent. We would love to go back there again.

We returned to Skye Fire for the second time.
We enjoyed our first week at Skype Fire in 2021 and looked forward to a return this summer with our two young grandkids. The home is comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, loads of fresh towels and a beautiful view of Lake Superior. Hope to return again soon.

Perfect!
Our second stay at Skyfire in November, so beautiful and perfect for hanging in or huddling out to feel the power of Lake Superior blustery days. Western sky-high view is incredible. Very well-managed and any need met with South Shore attention and charm. You won’t go wrong staying here, love it!

Nice, quiet location with a great view
We enjoyed the sunset and watching the eagle that flew by numerous times. This is a peaceful location with a nice back yard. Very nice property overall. It was a bit tight with six adult size people. Would be perfect for a group of 2-4.

Beyond the anticipated forever beauty of Lake Superior, Sky Fire has attended to every need in the most current of ways for those who stay. While the outside is breathtaking, the inside of the home on the lake is stunning as well.

As perfect as it can get!
Great location, accessible, wonderful kitchen, views, furniture was comfortable, quiet, easy to get to Port wing, Herbster and Cornucopia to explore. Loved, loved,loved the wood burning fireplace. Great shower, yard and easy access to the area. We signed up for 2022 already.
