"Great property close to Cacapon state park. Large open living space and a great kitchen. Only complaint is that many of the electric outlets did not work nor did the microwave. Was also provided the wrong password for the WiFi. The pros outweigh the cons, we have already booked this home again for next year. "

"We had a nice quiet weekend in Harper’s Ferry. The property was about a mile (hilly walk) away from the historic downtown. The property was a nice small studio, the neighboring houses were close, but it was a pretty private area. "

It is also a great home base for nearby activities such as hiking, shopping, or getting a massage. Close to so much history. Our favorite place to get away!!!!"

"Our family of 4 stayed here for a week. We primarily used it as a place to lay our heads at night while we visited nearby attractions. We visited Shenandoah National Park, Gettysburg, Antietam, Harper’s Ferry, and Washington D.C. The Cozy Cottage was well equipped with everything from linens to toiletries to pots, pans, lighters, and citronella candles. The AC went out the first night we were there. "loved this property, secluded, quiet. Had everything we needed, coffee makers, utensils, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, to name a few. a couple of miles of the main road, but very scenic. Only negative, (and wasn't really a negative), the road to Harpers Ferry was out, had to use detour, and extra 20 minute drive, but was a beautiful detour drive!"
