"I have notified the owners that I left a couple of items in their rental. A charging cable and an Echo Dot Alexa which was left behind a curtain inside in the living room area. The owners don’t seem like they are very responsive in getting these items back to me! Leaving it up to the cleaning lady to take care of. I will gladly pay postage to have these things mailed to me! "It was a wonderful place to call home base for a couple days and will probably stay again since I am in Florence frequently. I do recommend using Fleabusters to treat the floors and furniture for fleas. My dogs started scratching the day after we got there. That is the only reason it got 4 stars. It is peaceful, quiet at night and you can hear the ocean!!"

"What a nice house right on Heceta Beach. You couldn't ask for a better location. Great views from the lower and upper decks and from the bench in the back yard. "We had a great time the house is a short walk to Heceta beach and it was wonderful. The house is very clean and had everything ww needed except food. We went to the old town city hall parking lot and watched the beautiful fireworks display they put on for the 4th of July. The house is a little old and has some creaky stairs but that was all part of our vibe. Our family is old and a few of us have some creaking going on so we fit like a glove. Thanks for letting us make some great memories."

"My husband, stepdaughter and I stayed here for a short weekend trip. We all wish it had been longer. The photos don’t do this property justice. It was so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed, and is hidden perfectly from the road. The home is very clean and comfortable, and is a very short walk to a beautiful beach. We are looking forward to coming back for a longer stay."

"Near the beach, short walk was no problem. Definitely a beach shack, perfect for us! Well laid out, very easy to get comfortable, Altho the floor is concrete so took a while to warm up the place. Also the sheets were crusty :/ and we had to change them, but they had extras east to find. They seemed laundered, but not clean. We would stay again, but we like quirky little shacks :) The most uncomfortable part was communication with Vacasa. A little expensive for what you get, with all the fees."
