We wanted a nice place to stay while visiting family on the island. It is cozy, beautiful, and we really enjoyed the location. The hosts are great and they checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend and we look forward to staying again!

Great stay
Great location in central Harkers Island so we could get to everything easily. Loved the decor of the entire house, very modern and clean style. Had all amenities we needed, coffee maker and cups, detergent to wash clothes, and all bed sheets and bath towels. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Harkers Island.

Great place for our Girls Trip!
Booked Willowberry for vacation with my 2 daughters and sister. We each had our own amazing bedroom. Home is nicely decorated. It is not on the water but that was fine for us! Short distance to the ferry to Cape Lookout located on the island. And approximately 35min easy drive to Atlantic Beach. We had a great time and will definitely book this again when in the area.

Wonderful Stay....Great House!!!
My family stayed for 3-4 days at Harker's Island. The house is great, super clean, & just what we needed after a long road trip. The beds were all super comfy. The neighborhood was quiet & the drive to the island is lovely. Would definitely recommend the house to friends or family!

About my visit
Me and a group stayed at this home for about a week. They had everything we needed supplied. The only thing is that it’s a little far off from everything else. The communication with the owner was very easy and they helped us with everything we needed to know. I would really recommend staying at this amazing home!!

Highly recommend this cozy island house! Hosts have put a lot of time and talent into making their house welcoming and accommodating! We enjoyed the coffee bar, huge front porch, back deck, great place to wash the boat, comfy beds, quiet end of the road, clean, convenience, and just and overall cozy home. The Perfect Haven

Absolutely More!
This was the most beautiful home. This was everything we needed and more. The owners were very helpful and easy to contact. There were all kinds of little surprises when we arrived (good ones). The coffee bar was wonderful! the decorations and overall feel of the home was very warm and inviting! 10 out of 10 would recommend and would stay here again!!!

Love Willowberry!
We had a wonderful weekend at the Willowberry House. It was a wonderful home base location for our many excursions to Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, and the “end of the road” on Harker’s Island to see the sunrise. The house was impeccable in every way — clean, cozy, well-stocked, and beautifully adorned. Simply spending time at the property was a highlight of our trip. Furthermore, hosts Brenda and Damon were clear and responsive, as well as so kind and helpful in their communications with us. We highly recommend the Willowberrry House!

Absolutely splendid!
We’ve stayed at properties from Morehead to Atlantic. This was the first time we’ve stayed in Harkers island. Have to say this was by far the best yet. From the house, and location, every part of our stay was wonderful. We’ve found at most places there is one thing or another that could be better, but this place got it right! From the comfy beds, the nice shower heads, the roomy decks, right down to the nice coffee bar set up. The host covered all the details. Even had a nice book to explain and answer questions. We found plenty to see and do in the area. Great places to eat, and stores for this and that. Not far from Beaufort or Morehead either. We hope to go back again soon.

So Comfortable!
We’ve stayed in many places in North Carolina from Atlantic to Morehead. We found this home and Harkers Island to be our favorite so far. Normally there’s one or two things that you find when staying at places that are nice but could be just a little better. Everything in this home was so comfortable the beds, the shower the climate system, we found it very nice roomy and an excellent place to stay. There was also lots to see and do close by. A small beach for the little ones. I fishing pier for the older. A nice museum was right down the street with the ferry service to the outer banks. We found a food truck, and a few other good places to eat as well. It was close to other larger areas to visit while we were staying there as well. The down east part of North Carolina is beautiful. We will be back again ASAP!

The house is very nice and comfortable, with plenty of space inside and outside. I really liked that it had all the kitchen accessories, from pots to spices. Internet, TV's, washer & dryer machine, everything very nice. It's a shame that the weather didn't help us because it was raining from the moment we arrived and we had to go home a day early because there was a tornado watch & floods watch for the area. But other then that it was a nice place to be. We really enjoyed the house.

Best thanksgiving ever
Everything about this place was super easy, I have never stayed in a place that everything was laid out for you from a welcome package to the fish cleaning table , nice long driveway to back your boat in . I will definitely be back.

Relaxing break!
We have just returned from a great few days on Harkers Island. The house is lovely, with 4 adults and 3 children we had plenty of room and enjoyed the outside deck each night. Their is plenty to see and do, our favorite trip being the Ferry across to Cape Point Look Out, just fabulous. On the ride over the kids saw a dolphin in the bay and we enjoyed seeing the pelicans and wild ponies. The beaches on the barrier island were beautiful, well worth walking the100yrds beyond the small shop to the Atlantic side and enjoying miles of unspoilt beaches and crashing waves. Beaufort has lovely restaurants and cute shops, great atmosphere in the evenings and good fun l walking through the Marina. Tim and his wife are great hosts and very helpful!
