"Although the owner was good with communication this property is VERY OLD. They did have a fire going when we got there but it really only heats up the area its in. The rest of the house is very cold, and only a couple electric heaters that do not keep up. "Very Spacious and quiet. The interior is quite beautiful. Very close from all 3 Redwood state parks and next to the Klamath River. It’s inside a bitten down RV park, so exterior is okay. The RV park hostess is very friendly and helpful. If you are using Virbo or Expedia to book this, make sure you save the details somewhere locally in your phone as the area has no cellphone signal. "If you like to be off the grid, this is a great place to stay. We do this once a year and completely unplug from phones, computers, etc. This place was perfect for exactly that. It's remote and there's nothing better than the sound of a river. We had a total of 4 adults, 3 kids, and our 2 labs. Everyone had a wonderful time. It's a little bit of a walk to the river but once there, it's secluded and water is crystal clear. Thank you, Jim, for allowing us to stay at your place. "

"Had trouble with my room checking in but staff was extremely helpful and accommodating after a 10 hour trip we just wanted to get some rest. Beds were comfortable staff were very friendly. Spring Road Trip 2025

"I have stayed here before and loved every minute I was there. I decided to stay a week and enjoy days hiking and exploring the Redwoods, Crescent City and a visit with my sister In Grants Pass. Having this lovely cabin as my home base was perfect. It has all the things you need to have a great trip. The owners are kind and helpful. It made a great base to have while I hiked, walked, drove through beautiful Redwoods, spent time at Crescent Beach, and ventured up to Oregon to Grants Pass and Medford. I enjoyed the stunning Smith River and waved at friendly rafters and kayakers. I could not have asked for a better time. Weather was outstanding. The cabin was warm and inviting after a day of exploring. Overall a grand time. I look forward to returning to this fantastic place. "

"The food, the staff, the location, the proterty, the vibes and the town were all amazing. It was dang near the perfect stay, there wasnt a large variety of places to eat but the hospitality of the places that there were out there was phenomenal. Everyone was super kind, the sights were incredible and we will retun. P.S. the gas is super cheap around there compared to anywhere else in california and biscuits & gravy were to die for!"

"We spent our Christmas here. It was warm and cozy to come back to after our day trips visiting the various sites. This was our first time using Vrbo, but the owner made it very easy.
