"Jan5-9th 2025 Had a wonderful time while we were snowed in from Winter Storm Blair which brought a level 3 snow emergency to the area.  All roadways were closed! We luckily stopped at the grocery store for food on our way  "just in case"  and the snow started just as we arrived!We enjoyed our 4 days playing games, watching movies and reading  by the fireside. Lots of time was spent in the hot tub!Joey and Jessie were great hosts and kept us up to date with what was going on with the storm level...

"One suggestion would be to put some salt on the ramp and walk way and a bit cold. But that was to be expected since we came in the middle of a snowstorm… would be an awesome stay in the summer months."

The hot tub and propane grill were bonuses and the fireplace gave a cozy feel in the evening. "This cabin is definitely the best place I’ve stayed! The pictures look exactly like the cabin and it is on a beautiful and secluded property. The owners were extremely great and communicated with us quickly during our stay. The cabin has pretty much anything you could possibly need for your stay, which was greatly appreciated! It is also less than 10 minutes away from a gas station which was very convenient in case of any necessary trips to get any necessities. "

"We loved our stay at Ellis Edge Cabin. We took our older grandkids for a couple days away with some winter hiking. The cabin was great and so close to Old Man's Cave where we hiked to Cedar Falls and back in a couple inches of snow. Upon our return the hot tub at the cabin was a big hit. The older boys battled for bragging rights at the pool table and enjoyed lounging and watching movies in the theater room. They even made use of the fire pit the first night. "Great location right in the middle of Hocking Hills with close access to all the hiking trails. Hot tub was fantastic after a ling day hiking. 2 issues that we had were the strong smell of cigarettes in the cabin and the black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom"
