"The Villa Mitikas is just outside the village of Gennadi in a lovely spot with a great view of the sea. It's got fantastic facilities with a beautiful pool, BBQ area and outdoor seeing. "Beautiful hotel, staff cannot do enough for you and are all super friendly. Shuttle bus runs all day to the beach bar and restaurant that is included in the all inclusive. Spa treatment was amazing, Dimitri was wonderful. Food was good, we didn't tire of the buffet and never needed to eat anywhere else. I would book directly next time as the only issues we had were with Expedia not the hotel. "

"We are gluten intolerant so the guest relations manager George was absolutely magnificent, sat us down on our first day to go over the food and all the restaurants, even organised gluten free beer to the mini bar in my room. Just stayed for the week but would recommend it to anyone who is celiac as all 3 in our party of 10 people never had 1 reaction. This was our first time trying out an all inclusive hotel since we have been diagnosed and will definitely come back"

"For us, looking for somewhere relatively quite but still within easy walking reach to the beach and to local restaurants, this villa and location hit the spot perfectly. Hermione Villa was a great find. It is spacious, well furnished, clean and has a great outdoor area with pool, plenty of outdoor seating and tables. It has its own built in BBQ. The villa itself was in a relatively quiet location. The beach is about a ten minute walk away and is very quiet. Perfect for swimming. The small town centre is also a short 10 minute walk away with some excellent restaurants to choose from. All in it was everything that we hoped for and more. "

Villa Chevalier at Kiotari Beach, south of Lindos

"We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was perfect, it is set on a hillside just above Kiotari but close to the local restaurants, and shops. A car is needed, you can walk from the villa but if it’s hot the walk back up to the villa isnt the best. The villa has everything you need and the pool is a good size. Set on the hillside there was often a welcome breeze. Maria was very helpful providing lots of useful local recommendations for restaurants. We went to the bakery in Gennadi every morning to get croissants and pain au chocolates and sit with a coffee watching the locals go about their morning, Such a relaxing holiday. Beaches are stoney but not crowded and at times you felt like you had the beach to yourself. "

"Gennadi is a perfect greek village with plenty of good restaurants to eat out in; we enjoyed our stay and would go back again. The villa we had was good all round, the pool was a real highlight and we wouldn't be without it. The 100m or so walk along the main road to the village has no footway so didn't feel completely safe when walking along with our 6 year old child. The villa has steep staircase to the upper floor which means it wouldn't be suitable for young children of those with impaired mobility/have trouble climbing stairs. Bearing this in mind, we would highly recommend Gennadi and the Villa, and we thank Dimitri for all his help with our arrangements and his warm hospitality. "

An Impressive Beachfront Luxury Retreat with Private Beach

Lovely villa in stunning location

"The location of Villa Liam is perfect. The stunning sea views and pool were picture postcard perfect. It is only 20 mins from the airport and within 5-10 mins drive of wonderful restaurants and a supermarket offering the essentials. Inside the villa is well equipped and all the en-suite bedrooms are functional. There is a ground floor bedroom which was perfect for our elderly parents. A few very small additions would have made the stay a bit more convenient/ comfortable: a) a small welcome pack of basic provisions to get started. We arrived at the villa around 9.30pm after a very long day of travelling. Basic tea, coffee, milk would have been very appreciated. b) Other than utensils, cutlery and crockery, the kitchen was bare. Salt, pepper, herbs etc would be basic things to include with self catering accommodation. c) Bathrooms only had an all in one shampoo/body wash. Hand soap was only provided in the kitchen. I would class Villa Liam as premium, both in terms of the accommodation and the pricing, therefore these are little suggestions to improve the basic offering. However none of these stopped us having a wonderful week with family in the most stunning of settings. "

"This is a tough review to write. A mix of good and bad. We didn't get off to a great start. We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us. Once we eventually checked in, he tried hard to be helpful. One of the reasons we booked was because it had a washing machine in the room. (unfortunately not allowed to use it). owner did do washing for us, but not very convenient. he tried to make amends. rubbish collected daily, but they did leave doors and windows unlocked. The location to the port/restuarants/beach is superb, and supermarkets and bakery very close. A great place to stay if the owner is having a good day."
