Everything from our warm welcome to the suite to the two breakfasts was wonderful. And the location is super convenient to skiing at Belleayre and Plattekill. We'll be back again for a family trip someday!"

"The Moore's Motel is in a great location - close to two ski mountains and walkable to the small town. The owner is very kind and readily available for questions, extra towels, etc. "

"Had a wonderful stay Fri-Sun in the Emory room. So convenient for ski days out at Belleayre Mountain, private, and comfortable. Shadowcrest had everything we needed and wanted. A beautifully, well preserved space that feels like home, clean bedsheets/bathroom/etc, warm water with great water pressure, chairs/ottomans/luggage rack to keep all our belongings off the floor, electric kettle, microwave, mini fridge, beautifully decorated common spaces to relax, and a dining room where you could grab a bite and cup of coffee for breakfast before an early morning on the slopes. Max and Brendan were so kind and helpful throughout booking, check in, and check out. Couldn't have asked for more and we're looking forward to our next stay!"

"The cabin was great, really fun environment, host really kept the place nice and clean. I would definitely suggest watch horror late night with all the lights off. You will have a great experience if you enjoy a little spooky night. :)"

"Super clean, accessible parking right to your door, very cozy and overall great experience! Needed a place to stay for the night as we were coming from NJ to go skiing. Great distance from the mountain and super convenient. The owner was very accommodating and Jack the cat was the star of the show! Not to mention the price was exceptional! 10/10 experience and will definitely stay here again in the future if I’m ever in the area."

"The service was excellent, the room was perfect (the splitter/HVAC units on the ground outside the room were a bit noisy - but not unpleasant at least for me - however for future guests, you may want to consider muffling the sound if possible), immaculate, bed was very comfortable, TV was excellent (theatre-grade), the Exec Chef at the Shandaken is definitely "Michelin-grade", outstanding cuisine, complimentary breakfast menu was fantastic, the entire management/service team was/is "top-notch". Views are excellent, fire pits are a definite plus and the pool/tennis court look inviting (come summertime). The 3 cottages look like a wonderful option for extended stays with the whole family/friends! Thanks again!!! Happy 2025 to ALL of YOU!!!"

"A unique place. Old style motel with modern, themed rooms, and upgraded room amenities. Staff friendly and accommodating. Comfortable, quiet location one block from small dining and shopping area of Roxbury. Good breakfast choices put in bag to take back to room. Great wi-fi, cable TV w/Netflix. Only issue was low water pressure. Staff aware and apologetic. "
