"Loved the quiet and lanai on lagoon. The apartment was clean but the apartment complex is old with much weather damage. Beds are comfortable in small rooms. Property Manager was quick to respond to questions. Good info on how to find parking lot and get into apartment. Close to restaurants. Thank you. "

"Mandy is an excellent host. The upgrades and renovations made to the apartment in the last 3 years are excellent. The rental was very clean as well. I would stay again. The only drawback was the noisy neighbor next door. This individual talked loudly all hours of the day and his dog was barking it sounded like on the lanai in the middle of the night. I would suggest that the property management be told of this person's inconsideration of others."

"We spent two nights here and really liked this place. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to find, park, gain access, and we even did laundry. Fairly close to downtown to drive for dinner. Host had an excellent book created with lots of details. Would stay here again if in Hilo area. Thanks Joe!"

"Living room was extremely hot in the afternoon. Parking is very limited. Right off of a main road. Underneath neighbors pounded on the floor if us heavy set people walked too hard. My daughter slipped and fell and was crying so they pounded again scaring us. Shower had no pressure. The rooms were nice and cool with portable ac units, beds comfy. Owner was very kind and great with communication. The ring on the door made us a little uncomfortable but it’s understandable to have. Wouldn’t choose...

"We didn’t spend too much time in the unit—mostly used it as a home base and place to sleep, but it was excellent for our purpose. Clean and well stocked, and the directions/instructions were clear. Nice area, lots of hiking and things to see nearby (short drives). The beach is harder to get to than a quick glance at the map might indicate, but it’s a nice walk. Check out Mr Ed’s Bakery "

"We had a positive experience in every way! The location is wonderful - just 10 minutes north of downtown Hilo in a quiet neighborhood safe for walking. Spacious, clean and well stocked home with washer & dryer that we could use. The owner was kind and helpful. Close to a beach side park. Good price for the amenities. Cool breezes throughout and a great view of the sunrise and ocean! Very very Nice! We even heard some lovely live guitar music coming from downstairs one time. Great neighborhood."
