"Nice getaway in the mountains not far from Northern VA. Great snowtub/ ski and clubhouse. Nice property grounds. Very nice ! Rooms were kind of dated, first room smelled musky and a little like cigarettes but we moved to a different room and was fine! "

"The staff was amazing and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. We’d highly recommend this place and plan to return for another stay soon! We stayed in the yurt and it was 23 degrees one night. We had to turn down all heater!! The set up is a perfect for winter too!"

"This is our second time at this property. It’s about 20 minutes from Whitetail Resort. It was a great place to wind down after a day of skiing. Spacious and comfortable. Because of heavy snowfall in the afternoon, there was about 4 inches or more of snow in the driveway and my car got stuck. I went up the wrong driveway, but in any case both driveways were snow covered and impassible unless you had chains. Even with four-wheel-drive our wheels were spinning. "We really enjoyed our stay at this property, where we nestled down for winter cooking, movies, and excellent snowy hot tub time watching the frozen Potomac. Its close enough for an excursion to Berkeley Springs, and we liked the bed! I often find rental mattresses to be too hard and this one was just right."
