Lovely one-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom hotel suite that sleeps six is located on the 14th floor of the Phoenix All Suites West Hotel.

Not as advertised
Check at 4 , we were given a code access and when we open the door there were two women on the floor. They say they were inspecting. The pool was closed both days we were able to swim due to large scaffolding scaling above the pool. Men at work. Ever mentioned this would be part of the hotel stay. We drove 22 hrs and booked over 1000 for the week stay here. We left early to go to a different hotel so we could get some swim time elsewhere.

Sufficient for our needs
When we go to the beach we like to stay on the beach. The unit we stayed in was just the right size for two. It does have a sofa bed and two small bunks but there would definitely not be enough room had someone actually been staying with us. The bathroom has no counter space so we used the bunk bed for our bathroom supplies. It would be nice if there were some coat hooks in the hallway to hang things.

Black mold
We had a horrible experience and we have pictures. The condo is infested with black mold. I have asthma and use an inhaler and I am very sensitive to black mold. I sent an email when we located the mold and they told me to go to the front desk. They sent someone to clean it and they didn’t clean it all. So they didn’t take my health issues seriously. I have pictures of after they cleaned as well. I would like to know who I file a complaint with. Im probably going to be seeing a doctor when I get home because I can feel the fluid in my chest. It was the worst I had seen even in the air vents.

Short family trip
The check in was easy and they let us check in early around 2:00. The hotel was very clean and everyone (staff) was super friendly. The only problem we had was that they did not provide us with any blankets for or rooms. We went down to the front desk the first night and asked for some and were told they didn’t have any. They asked us to ask again the next day. We went down again the next morning and they said they would let housekeeping know. Housekeeping came by later in the day and only had one blanket available. We had 4 beds. Luckily we had a few of our own small blankets that we brought for the long car ride. Our hot water heater also made loud noises but it wasn’t too bothersome. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but if we had not had our own blankets it would have not been pleasant.

The property was nice. It was clean and right on the beach. The space is small but perfect for 3 people. Fully stocked kitchen. The only thing needed is food and swimsuits.

Everything was great except for the size of the bunk beds. We had a 16 year old guest who even had trouble fitting in the bunk beds. They are meant for kids, so would think about that before having 4 adults in the room.
