Make yourselves at home at this terrific beach house with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico from both inside and out. Located approximately 150 yards from the western edge of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, this bright and spacious home boasts a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar for preparing your favorite meals and beach snacks, a dining area with a table for six, and a sunlit living area with comfortable seating, a large, cable-equipped flatscreen TV, and a second table and chairs with a view - perfect for rainy day board games!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Overall Nice Getaway
The walk to the beach is very short, and the home was a great price given its condition. Some things are in major need of updates and upgrades, but overall it makes for a nice brief getaway.

El Pescador wins!
My family loves this house. We stayed here 2 years ago and decided to stay again. The house is clean and adequate. The big draw is the private beach a short walk away. We walked on the beach at dawn and often there was no one else in sight. Perfect location if you want the beach and some peace and quiet!

Perfect for a weekend getaway!
While I don't fish, "El Prescador" is the perfect getaway for a weekend with our furry friend. Place was very comfortable and the location was perfect with a very short walk to the beach across the private road. We will be back again!

Great house right on the beach
El Pescador is an older traditional beach house that is right across the street from miles of beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels much more open than some of the other beach communities in Fort Morgan. The house is a little worn, but very comfortable and roomy. Everything you need - we loved our stay!

The house was nice but dated and needed some repairs. The inside was spacious and large enough to accommodate everyone. It was clean. Some of the furnishings were very worn. There was no working light where the washer and drywr was. The outside lights for the deck didn't work so tou couldn'tsee ar all when walkingout the slidingglass doors. There was a rotting board in the cirner of the deck The furniture on the deck was broken.

Location, location, location. Comfortable, well-stocked beach house w/ a million-dollar view. We like Ft Morgan Rd, at Gulf Shores, AL. This house is situated so well for beach view, beach access, and not crowded-out w/ other houses. We’re planning our third visit.

Great Location
This is the 3rd time staying at this house. It is a little dated, but beds and furniture are comfortable, the size is great, and the location is fantastic. Beautiful beach with no crowds. It also allows me to bring my dog. We had breakfast and sunsets on deck each day.

Spacious Beach House
We enjoyed our stay at Ft Morgan again. The beach house was clean, plenty of towels and so much living space for our group. Loved the boardwalk to the beach, had issues with those mean old flies the last two days, so beach time was cut short.

Great views without breaking the Bank.
We really loved this location. The privacy the views it really is a very short walk to beach on a wooden walkway. Yes the house is a little dated and if you are really picky I’m sure you can find something to complain about. But the views and beach access afforded by this house can not be beat for the money. Beach was crowded on both sides but the beach area for this house never was and it is a great beach area. House was clean and everything needed was provided. We personally loved every minute of our stay.

We loved it
Overall this house was great. We loved the space. It was clean and very comfortable. We never could get the tv remote to work, but maybe that was user error. We hope to come back again. It was everythjng we hoped for. Don't let any bad reviews keep you from staying here. Yes, it needs a couple of updates and a fresh coat of paint here and there, but that's not important to us. The beach and neighborhood were quiet. You can't beat the view. The master bed had a few dips, but my back didn't hurt. We had no problems sleeping. We will be back!

Safety Concerns
We were excited to spend the weekend with family but soon realized the vacation rental wasn’t up to par from a safety and cleanliness stand point. The porch is a big safety hazard with nails poking out and hand rails about to fall over if leaned upon. Doors wouldn’t shut because the house is not level. The place needs a big renovation. The cleaning was only surface level and needs to have a deep clean on the Central air filter, ceiling fans, tables, and other areas. Although there were issues, it’s quiet, secluded, and very accessible to the beach.

The Broken House
We found two dining room chairs broken and the leaf to the table is about to break off, a false cabinet drawer fell off a cabinet, the kitchen sink leaks under the cabinet and out the bottom of the house, the AC in the master room is non existent probably due crushed AC ducting, the exercise equipment doesn’t work, two rotten boards on the ground level of the house, house advertised with two refrigerators but it only had one, drawer in metal bakers rack is broken, no weather stripping on sliding door so it banged on its hinges all night long, no sheets on queen bed so we had to sort through all the sheets in the master room just to find some that fit, there are holes, cracks in the ceilings and walls, found dirty silverware in the drawers and broken patio furniture. This was the most poorly stocked house we have ever rented. We have been renting old beach houses for decades and expect things not to be perfect but this house was clearly in disrepair. It will always be known as The Broken House
