"Fabulous historic hotel with some truly wonderful and giving staff. From the “bellhops”, bar and restaurant staff to the concierge nothing was too much trouble for them. Balcony room looking over the pool quite small for two with luggage, but it is an old building. Only letdown were a couple of miserable receptionists on our last day. Rude, unhelpful and obviously did not want to be there. Everything seemed like a bother to these particular two, spent a lot of time on the phone and ignored everyone else when doing so, not even an acknowledgment you were there or a smile. Such a shame a simple thing like this can spoil a fabulous hotel in, what is for us, a once in a lifetime trip. "

"It was a wonderful place to stay! Had a wonderful spa tub in the room, double shower head, excelent view from the screened in balcony! We didn't get to any of the amenities but they had a huge list of resort items available. "

"If you are a light sleeper I don’t recommend facing the road but the room was clean & comfortable, the traffic noises didn’t bother me at all. Staff was all friendly & courteous. Would stay here again! "
