The property was great - reasonably priced, nice breakfast, clean, colorful and located very close to Barrio Escalante - great coffee and dining options. "It was the perfect location for walking around and getting to all the major "attractions" for us first timers. Unfortunately the hotel needs a lift to bring into the present. They say for"eco" reasons they don't give you but two towels but can you at least but some new ones,. You can tell they've used the same ones for over a decade at least. The staff was great, the inc breakfast wasn't bad. Overall, i wouldn't stay more than 1-2 days there."

" Santo Tomas Hotel was a very nice stay for my family. The hotel is in downtown and is nicely gated. The desk is well manned and the gate opened almost immediately upon our arrival, even after we went out and came back very late. Comfortable beds and nice hot showers. We had our own toiletries but good to mention there was only small bar soap in the bathroom. There is a fridge and microwave in a common area. No ac but the room had a great air flow including ceiling fan. Breakfast was amazing and...

"The building itself is nice but it is in need of a restoration. My room was spacious, but the beds were saggy and there's no air conditioner. The curtain does not cover the window completely so anybody in the hallway can look inside which is strange. They do have a strict rule of not allowing guests into the hotel. On a side note, they don't give you hand towels unless you ask for it. On the whole, my stay there was just ok, nothing really good or bad, that's the reason for an average rating."
