Hotel Motto was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the rest of our trip. The style of the hotel is stunning—chic, modern, and full of character, with elegant touches in every corner. The room was beautifully designed, comfortable, and quiet, with one of the coziest beds we’ve ever slept in. And the location? Perfect. We were walking distance to so many great restaurants, cafés, shops, and museums—plus easy access to public transport for exploring Vienna. The highlight was the rooftop restaurant, Chez Bernard. The cocktails were top-notch (seriously, try the espresso martini), and the atmosphere was unbeatable—romantic and vibrant at the same time. We started our honeymoon here, and it set the bar incredibly high for every stop that followed. Can’t recommend it enough. Hotel Motto truly made Vienna feel like magic.

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy as was check out. We left our bags for a couple of hours whilst we enjoyed our last day in Vienna. The room was clean and the kitchen area was well equipped with utensils, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. Salt,pepper, coffee pods and teabags. The hotels maintenance came within a couple of minutes after calling. The problem was dealt with quickly. We loved our stay. The hotel is a short walk from the CAT train from the airport and in the heart of Vienna.

Great service! Great location and very attentive

The hotel is at a great location, staff is nice and friendly and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The complimentary drinks were highly appreciated (especially the coffee!) so was the opportunity to store our luggage on our last day since our flight was in the evening. The only thing that we didn’t like about the hotel was the need to go through the restaurant lounge every time we got back to our room - a separate entrance or a covered corridor would give those accommodated in the hotel comfort and privacy. Everything else was great and we would be happy to stay there again next time we visit Vienna.
