First room wasn't top floor like requested w/our VIP Expedia status, was supposed to get us, LOUD kids next door-woke us at 5:45 AM, and our air didn't work. Thought it just needed time to cool down...Nope ! And bedroom ceiling fan didn't work, so super hot to try to sleep, then 2nd night 2:30 AM air thermostat flashing wakes us. It's completely broke. We're sweating to death, told front desk, they made it sound like they had no rooms to move us, wrong, resort half full, and they didn't seem to care. Talked to others, they said they were freezing in their rooms. Saw a guy who was getting moved cause his TVs didn't work. What ?! He had no prob moving at all. I demanded to be moved. Finally, a room was found, so we moved. Like pulling teeth to get moved. Very upsetting way to spend first 2 days, after all the money we spent on trip ! Resort rooms are out dated, need towel hut at both ends of beach, more lunch- dinner options on menus. Free breakfast was great ! The workers are amazing. Ended up with same taxi driver to dinners in town, and to airport-"Junior". Super nice guy ! JoAnna at breakfast-super nice ! Fire show Fri night-amazing. Dinners in town were good: Harbor Club-Julias, Matthew's, Jacques Waterfront (favorite), Cap Maison.
