"We stayed here around Christmas time. We were skiing nearby. Location was great. With the snow the cabin was great for views. There were some issues with the internet/tv working for the first few days- but was addressed. There was a little issue with the shower downstairs leaking- we sent a video the first day but little could be done. Little issues "

"Nice,clean,spacious farmhouse with alot of amenities and sleeping quarters. Has alot of the typical charm you'd expect from a house of this building period. We enjoyed our stay while skiing at Stowe. Not too far away, and still close enough to the slopes and other stores, restaurants and pubs. "

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. "We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The peaceful setting, surrounded by woods, made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Sitting by the cozy fireplace in the evenings, while enjoying the stunning lake views, was an absolute highlight. "The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. Vacasa quickly offered to come out. I recommend that VRBO indicate 4WD required in winter. This was not indicated on the VRBO website and we didn't see...

"This property was simply amazing - the location was easy to stowe, remote enough to feel Vermonty, but not too rural at all. The inside of the home was SO clean and well decorated. Cozy, large and well laid out. Beds are very comfy and great linens. We did not want to leave :) Kitchen was well stocked and they use natural/fragrance free products which was huge for me! The house is much larger and spacious than pictures showed. "

"The place is right in town within eyeshot of the trailhead, and a stone’s throw from the Tiki Bar (a landmark for cyclists). Interior is excellent, fully updated and great for a group (6 beds, large kitchen, big dining table and comfortable living room). Has a lockable bike shed too. We stayed for three days (rode for 2 and skied for 1). Had an amazing time, will be back!"
