Our room was very comfortable and with the blackout shades incredibly dark for deep sleeping. We had a great time walking down into town to see Cripple Creek. We are looking forward to returning again. "

"We had such a lovely time during our three-night stay. Every staff person with whom we interacted was personable and professional. The lobby area with a bar and coffee service has comfy sofas and individual tables. Our only minor problem, coffee was supposed to be available at 6 a.m., and when my husband went down one morning at 7 a.m., it wasn't ready. When it was finally ready, it was lukewarm. Considering La Baguette is only half a block away, this is only a minor inconvenience"

"The hotel is historic and beautiful. We are natives of Colorado and have never been in this beautiful hotel. The breakfast in the antlers restaurant was excellent and the cost Was comparable to local restaurants. The only thing I didn't like was, the pool was cold. However my husband had no problem with the cool water. The pool area was extremely clean and inviting. We will stay here again. "

"Absolutely amazing stay. View was PHENOMENAL. While we stayed only one night, we will be back for sure. We were very surprised at how big and spacious the room was, not to mention the huge bathroom with the walk in shower and even a separate makeup counter (a plus for me doing my makeup), and the fireplace which warmed the room very nicely. I will say I don’t recall seeing a thermostat in the room. For winter, it was fine cause we could cool off the room by opening the sliding door but not sure how that would fare in summer. Bed was very comfortable and loved the bathroom products offered, they smelled amazing. I will say, the hot tub was kinda weird. Not really near the infinity pool as there isn’t one there. And when we turned the jets on, it foamed up like someone put bubbles in there. And not the normal jet bubbles, I mean dropped a bath bomb or bubble bath. It stayed hot though for the couple hours we used it. We would have loved to stay longer. So another trip will be in order for us. "
