"Beds were very comfortable. The large, walk-in shower was very nice with good water pressure, but the shower head had streams of water that almost stung my skin. There's no heat or A/C in the bathroom, so it can be cold in the morning if the bathroom door is closed. There was some mold around the edges of the shower and some of the walls where they met the ceiling. The service was very good. The location is great."

"We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him."
