Adorable Two-Person Bungalow in Downtown Nevada City

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (124)
"Lovely little bungalow just minutes from town. Quiet and comfortable. Kathy had a beautiful welcome tray of snacks and my favorite wine stocked. Bathroom was well appointed with soaps, fresheners and lotions. Beautiful towels and robes. Fresh coffee to grind in the morning. I would definitely stay here again"

Charming Creekside Cottage! Relax in nature yet only a short walk to town!

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (66)
"Walk out the door and turn right and you can walk a ¼ mile to the Deer Creek Tribute Trail, a lovely hike. Turn left out the door and you are an easy ½ mile walk from downtown Nevada City and all its restaurants and stores. I stayed for a week and walked everywhere, never moving my car. The property is cute, clean and comfortable. The screened porch is a peaceful spot to unwind, though I was here at the wrong time of year to enjoy it properly. I hope to be back in the spring. 9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (22)
"The location near the Cascade Canal Trail and the proximity to town are two great reasons to stay, but the house is just so comfortable! Beautiful views from every window. Large, nicely designed and well appointed kitchen and each living area a place to mingle and share time with family and friends. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners thought of everything. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!!"

Sierra Mountain Inn

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (461)
"The room was teeny tiny and not at all what the pictures looked like. It was old and needed more upgrades - especially in the bathroom. I accidentally left a pair of my shoes and called about it, but they said they couldn't find them. I have a hunch that the maid has a new pair of shoes. If said pair of shoes show up afterall, i will revise this part of my review. Also parking lot super small and hard to get in and out of. "

"It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells."
